if that were to happen to me, my eyes would be very tired and have a headache, thus taking my focus off trading.

This also happens to me, over time, so I plan to abandon this type of trading soon.

Being a "Professional Trader" is more a trait than an occupation. The "Professional Trader" is disciplined, follows strict set of rules. Never over leverages, doesn't relies on retail patterns and is basically the total opposite of the retail trader. This is literally the only difference between the "professional" and the retail trader.

If a trader sits at home and trades with his own money, he is not a professional trader, but a retail one. Many people confuse these concepts. What you are describing is just an experienced trader who knows his business well and understands what he is doing, there are no more than 5% in the entire market.

Who told you this?

This was said by a professional trader at the largest investment bank on Wall Street. You want to challenge his words, okay. Everyone only believes in what he wants to believe or what he can believe. If you want to believe that a professional trader is someone who sits at home behind a monitor and trades with their own money, this is your right. Some people believe that Bitcoin is a ponzi pyramid, there is no point in persuading them either, let them believe.
