I agree, and you are right because of one reason ; usd is global whereas euro is continental. I mean sure euro is used in the biggest nations of the world, USA is a big nation and bigger than any other european nation when it comes to economy (probably, didn't check at all) but when you combine all europe together they could be bigger than usa.

However euro is not used in touristic places all that much, could be used but is not as favored, whereas you could have USD and you could go anywhere or talk with anyone and you could have one common money, everyone can have dollars and exchange that anywhere in the world and can be preferred, hell you can even use it in nations outside of usa, like literally go to a shop and buy something using dollars, not rare for euro but not as common neither. Let’s be honest what do we talk about when we talk about bitcoin price? Do we say its 30k euro or 40k euro etc? No we say USD here as well.
