They are a meeting of war. It's been done before every time there is G7 meeting there is always a war. They have done this before and Russia was part of it back in 1920 I think. This time Putin is playing differently and knows where to put himself for the benefit of his country.
He didn't join and will likely prevent the bloodshed here. And so the G7 now shift to them having a Belt and Road type project to counter China. So you see it's more about China that they are talking about.
