Elon Musk has announced that when there is “confirmation of reasonable (~50%) clean energy usage by miners with positive future trend,” Tesla will start accepting bitcoin for payments again.

“This is inaccurate. Tesla only sold ~10% of holdings to confirm BTC could be liquidated easily without moving market. When there’s confirmation of reasonable (~50%) clean energy usage by miners with positive future trend, Tesla will resume allowing Bitcoin transactions.” he responded to a Cointelegraph tweet about recent accusations from Sygnia CEO Magda Wierzycka, who called on the SEC to investigate him for allegedly manipulating Bitcoin’s price.

This is the reason of current pump. Seems like he can still influence the market with his tweets. But this is a good news for Bitcoin future and hopefully other firms and companies will follow suit.

Finally the price of Bitcoin managed to touch the price of $ 40k, this is very good news for the crypto community. It's been a long time since Bitcoin
failed to reach the $40k price, finally today Bitcoin surprisingly managed to hit the $40k price. What's interesting is that this has a lot to do with
Elon Musk's positive statements about Bitcoin and Tesla plans to accept Bitcoin payments again. Even though I don't like Elon Musk and I don't care
what he has to say, I have to admit that his influence is quite big. Because what he said indirectly made the price of Bitcoin now managed to rise
to the price of $ 40k. Hopefully in the future Elon Musk will not spread FUD about Bitcoin again, so that he can correct the mistakes he has made.
