Would btc be liquid ? How would you even send and receive even if you do own the private keys to your coin?

I am aware virtually all other aspects of our lives would be fucked properly more than likely before btc even comes to our mind if this were to happen (unless you were disproportionately invested i.e. majority of your portfolio is crypto). Still It's interesting to consider whether bitcoin really is comparable to gold in this sense - if the world really goes to shit btc aint helping noone. COVID showed us how fragile civilisation is it wouldn't take much...
Actually gold isn't similar to bitcoin with or without connectivity. Gold and bitcoin are different kinds of assets and in a world without internet you couldn't use bitcoin for anything, but gold could still be used as currency like in the old times, being very valuable to pay for any kinds of goods you have in mind. Bitcoin is only useful in a digital, connected world, that is why it's called the currency of the future.
If you don't have a massive digital presence in your society bitcoin becomes useless and the presence of assets like gold increases dramatically in people's lives.
