Elon stops buying Tesla cars using bitcoin. He cited the reason for the termination due to the increase in fossil fuels that increased due to bitcoin mining activities.
Elon's statement sent the price of bitcoin down about 5% in the first few minutes after the announcement.

Tesla was not fully banning bitcoin and it could be a horrible thing consider tesla is still holding a lot of bitcoin as well.
Elon has always been playing with the btc community with those tweet of his, i don't know why a grown chose to behave like a kid, everyone knows the first thing to do when investing is do your research, Elon can not tell me that he hasn't done any research on how btc is mined, but instead of investing quietly he wants to fud and rek the market, suddenly he wants to invest only if 50% of miners use green energy, now he will determine how miners will do their job, i think he realize how much he will miss out if continue to be a jerk.
