Appreciate your hard working and interest to make web based chat for users,but it's really ridiculous to see that you're using wordpress for that which looks like just ico scheme, IMHO. Domain is absolutely suitable for that platform, so it'll be best for OP to bulid the platform from scratch with own codes, not just to use any CMS for that. 
I'm actually going to be replacing the backend with react but it's in development ! Absolutely a valid point and wordpress should never be a long term goal indeed. I'm just one man right now! Maybe someday with a team I could have produced it from scratch rapidly
