If you are merited, you will be filled with joy, I see it as a sense of pleasure and thinking you are contributing to quality posts on this forum. Someone will feel good he is helping others, also someone will fill good if others are helping and understanding it. I too feels good as my merit is increasing because I see it as a way that I have contributed on this forum. It is just like being good in class, at office or anywhere, those brings good feelings that the person is brilliant and intelligent.
