Let’s imagine the future envisioned by many great authors and creatives, the sci-fi techno-society that is our “cyberpunk” destiny. A reality where class warfare has gone to the extreme and the division between the rich and poor is a basis for what will be known as crypto-capitalism. By allowing governments and corporations to regulate Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, we opened the door to our own enslavement. They have complete control over our opportunities, our health, our money and ultimately our freedom. In this version of our timeline, the power of blockchain is sadly being abused for evil, greed, and power.

More global pandemics arise and people lose faith in the quality and safety of food products. Millions of “lower class” people die from contamination and disease. The new world order uses this as an opportunity to restrict and regulate all consumable products globally. This leads to food scarcity and panic. Not only is there very little food available, but it also becomes unclear if “black market” produce is free from viruses or harmful pathogens. There is absolutely no trust in supply chain systems.

By the 2500s, things have gotten so bad that corporations (gov) literally control exactly when and what you can consume. 100 years pass as their system slowly fails. The frogs in the pot finally start feeling the warm water starting to boil. It’s time for change - real change this time. There is an uprising. A global war is initiated by the people to take back their planet. “The Great Crypto War” is what it will be known as. This is when the power of blockchain can finally be brought back to the people where it belongs.
