The company would be able to do some deanonymisation techniques (potentially) which could do things like link your bitcoin wallet to your ip/name if it's in an email signed up with. It's more of a thing thatd just seem a bit weird and if you wanted to stop that, you could just send the funds to a trusted exchange instead.
