South African countries, Venezuela & El Salvador and others are adopting Bitcoin as an everyday currency for whatever reasons - Inflation, corruption destroying nation's currency etc.
This is not what I think why they adopt Bitcoin. The purpose of having Bitcoin is not to destroy fiat money, it comes just to be an alternative in terms of online payment.
Inflation? Bitcoin is more than that. You know how volatile it is and you might be surprised to see that the BItcoin price will dump at any time. From $30k down to $20k, that could be possible.

Just seems wrong to me the influence some people have and how it's affecting 'normal' people's lives who aren't necessarily using bitcoin as a speculative investment.
Well, we have the choice in the first place. The government never forcing us to use this Bitcoin in our life, still, we can use fiat money if we want to. But remember that we are in a new era, an online payment system is in demand, can you still think it was not normal? That was supposed to be normal in this time.
