The President of El Salvador, Naib Bukler, gave an important speech to the world on Bitcoin today on Twitter. Nayib Bukele stated that the Salvadoran government will provide each citizen with $30 in Bitcoin and emphasized that the first wallet application can be connected to any mobile phone. It can be used anywhere, and citizens can run it on the Internet without having to make a mobile phone plan for the application. In addition, Nayib Bukele also stated that merchants can choose not to hold Bitcoin.

El Salvador has some serious plan related to bitcoin other than making it legal currency of the country like geothermal energy for mining and Bitcoin ATMs being installed frequently everywhere. You can easily find people using btc transaction and they are fast because of LN use as mentioned by the other members.I came across an article where Nayib also stated that the telecom companies will have to facilitate the offline transaction for Bitcoin. Now they are sending $30 worth of bitcoin which would be roughly around 0.00085 btc at this time in their wallets which is just a gift to them as adoption and it is not going to make you rich or poor in your preferred wallets and the fees would not be an issue. Moreover they don't need any intervention of IMF as they have stepped into decentralised finance already and capable of boosting their economy.
