Maybe the people of El Salvador will see BTC for what is actually is; slow, very expensive fees, and basically pointless as a medium of payments for every day goods and services.
BTC is like bragging about a TV from 2010, when today you can get an awesome OLED screen. There are way better crypto's nowadays that blow BTC out of the water.
They aren't cozying up to bitcoin as one would think they would as an alternative way to pay for goods other than their local currency.
