The President of El Salvador, Naib Bukler, gave an important speech to the world on Bitcoin today on Twitter. Nayib Bukele stated that the Salvadoran government will provide each citizen with $30 in Bitcoin and emphasized that the first wallet application can be connected to any mobile phone. It can be used anywhere, and citizens can run it on the Internet without having to make a mobile phone plan for the application. In addition, Nayib Bukele also stated that merchants can choose not to hold Bitcoin.
IMO their president really cares for his people. This is another power move from El Salvador. It's a good thing that their leader thinks and plan ahead almost everything before executing. Well-organized if I must say. He really thought so well and vieved all the possible angles to make sure that his constituents will experience the best services bitcoin has to offer.
Providing a capital for his citizens to start with is a smart plan because his people won't have to worry where they would get their starting fund. Especially nowadays, most people are just trying to make the ends meet now that we are in the middle of a pandemic. By giving them equal amounts to start, they are giving each and everyone equal opportunity to generate income and become successful. The citizens just have to do their thing which is to study bitcoin and learn how to use it.
