Mexico’s third richest man, Ricardo Salinas, said in discussions with the directors of Blockchain Land that 10% of his assets are Bitcoin. He stated that all the advantages of Bitcoin make it eligible to be a modern form of gold, which is easy to carry and enjoys high liquidity internationally. Most importantly, the supply of Bitcoin is limited. In addition, he is not optimistic about altcoins and believes that altcoins do not have the potential to surpass Bitcoin
I believe this has been broadcast last year and Salinas invested His 10% not this year but either last year or 2019.
Unfortunately, most of his assumptions are based on traditional scarce assets, such as gold. Although I personally think that it will take some time for any altcoin to reach the height of Bitcoin, their functionality and practicality mean that it is entirely possible over time.
Even what his assumptions are yet he already made good profit back in 2017.
