I dont think anybody thought that Bitcoin would become worth over 40k when it first launched people laughed at it. People never thought Dogecoin would even be listed on Coinbase and Binance but it did lol. In the crypto world as we have seen before anything is possible
People tend to use alt coins whether its a meme coin or not as payments because they have cheaper transaction costs compared to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is more of a trading asset than an everyday use coin
