Definitely multisig wallet would be better than single-sig one,  providing all private keys that are eligible to sign your multisig transaction are under your control, say first key is secured by Electrum itself while the second one by Ledger nano or some other wallet else. Trust to two or more  separate teams is not likely to fail simultaneously.
