Still, LTC was the second cryptocurrency to be released, and despite being a BTC clone, it was always better and more evolved. If the crypto market finally goes bullish again, I am confident that LTC will follow and the price will rise; but, if anyone believes that LTC will go on its own bull run due to Mimblewimble or any other technological advancement, I am skeptical.

I believe you're right. According to the bitcointalk,
NameCoin's ANN was posted on April 18, 2011, compared to
LiteCoin's ANN that was posted nearly six months later.
Additionally, before LiteCoin there was another fork of Bitcoin that is still active today:
Ixcoin.
