Yes one of the main reasons, because of the pandemic happen that's why some country that suffered by the doubled price of a food. Also food is the bassic essential we need in everyday. We are more than people So we need more farmers to get more grains and the government also pay their wages or salary so that the possibility why we get a high price of a Food.
People are already struggling because of the restrictions then the problem comes again with the double price of food. I don't know why the government doesn't control prices during a pandemic, they should be able to control it and give strict punishment to rogue sellers. If the government can't handle it, at least provide assistance in the form of basic materials or cash.
