Yes, this is one of the reasons why Bitcoin is probably here to stay. It has weathered all the storms during its inception and then during the time when it was slowly introduced to the open world. Those were the hardest days of Bitcoin I think, those days when Bitcoin was almost unknown and that many of those people who have heard about it are even labelling it as a currency for hiding criminals and syndicates. For now, although it is still very young and not yet as tested as it should be, it has already grown a lot stronger.
