Well now that's a great questions and while I don't know the answer - nor do I know how he/she/they/it would feel about the whole trust system to begin with - I do know that trust ratings can be removed, so just have a little bit of patience and I think the situation will resolve itself.

I'm personally not one to tag accounts simply for wearing a signature, but I'm not entirely against it either... depends on the context. In this context it seems that the tag has already served a benefit, and probably no longer does.
