According to Bloomberg, electric car company Tesla has just decided to spend 1.5 billion USD to buy Bitcoin and accept payment in this cryptocurrency, contributing to bringing the value of Bitcoin to a new record on the exchange.
The company also said it will invest more in other digital assets and accept customers using Bitcoin to buy products from the company. The move makes Tesla the first major automaker to accept cryptocurrency for transactions.
