Also, it's surprising how much parts cost sometimes.
'07 Sonata had $9K parts from a left side impact with a Ford Focus (ran red light) @ 25 MPH

$11K after labor. Just two doors, midsection plus left side skirt...
I really think people that can afford to buy a salvaged car should.. I mean it is def. harder to resell them but if you get the repairs done right (assuming you select a car with damage that isn't too bad) they're still good cars. Most cars with clean titles are over rated. Not just saying that cause I want this thing to sell. I will probably never buy a new/used car again from a dealer again. Dealing with the bank to get a loan, paying on that loan every month.. being forced to have full coverage on your auto insurance (ok that one isn't always bad).. and I think what I like the least is dealing with the salesperson.
