It is gamified DEFI plain and simple. You use your token for buying planets, financing discovery ship or founding civilisations. It might not sound too exciting for a lot of people. If you are interested in strategy games and crypto this might well be of interest for you. I am surprised, that they are already planning the possibility of visiting planet surfaces a la Decentraland. How they can deliver on that remains to be seen but I can clearly see a market for this.
