Exactly what I was thinking. Merit Farmers never look good. Asking for merit is certainly the wrong move. Posting constantly recycled topics is also no way to gain that type of legendary status. Some of these things have been talking about extensively on the standard discussion forum. You will find that you may get snarky replies if it is a question people have discussed in-detail 100x.
