Yes definitely and you should have a lot of criteria on what to look at on a new coin, don't just trust and believe in the hype, do not be too greedy thinking how can you make a profit on a new coin, there are so many coins created to make a profit for developers and early investors, always look long term, you should have a way, to look if the coin is gearing up for long term development, or they just want to hype the coin.
