As we all know, adult citizens of El Salvador will get the equivalent of 30 US dollars in bitcoins for free, bitcoin will soon become legal tender, and its purpose is to simplify the process of remittances for Salvadorans. Is it true that Bitcoin will be issued? Or just some candy paper bags?
I too have seen this news in few onlin news reporting websites. That can be true! El-Salvador has total population of 6 million and I am not sure about the ratio of adult population there! But I believe when the government wants to kick start anything, this is the way to do it. I am sure many people may be reluctant in using bitcoin because of its technical difficulties or for other reasons. But when government gives away 30 usd as encouragement subsidy, even they will try to use it and learn about it. That's exactly what the El-Salvador government wanta to achieve.
