Indeed, an outright shame. As you say, and as I recently mentioned on my local board, answering on threads where the OP has plagiarized the content can have, as a lateral effect, the deletion of all participant posts, which is a waste of time for quite a few people.

I was actually looking at some similarities before, between the wording used by the OP, and another flourishing newcomer that posts on Beginners & Help and Bitcoin discussion, both using certain words here and there that are odd. Nothing conclusive, nor necessarily meaningful, but had me there for a while.

By the way, the Reddit poster is also a plagiarist … having copied a post four days ago from a Bitcointalk post from @cheezcarls created back in April:
