To be fair, it seems that you’ve got a point there with the time difference. The timestamp of the unedited post would give the upper hand to @ZOOOOM vs Reddit @sverlinas2, and if nobody sees anything different, it gives him a fair chance to make
an appeal as per the procedure.
If @ ZOOOOM considers the ban to be a false positive, he should plead his case first to the email address from which he was notified of the ban, and if not, he could create a thread on
Meta for that sole purpose, detailing the grounds for the appeal, and whether the two accounts are the same person or not (@ZOOOOM vs Reddit @ sverlinas2).
Don't worry about the OP. This is not his only plagiarism. And it is already banned today.

If we talk about the appeal, then it is possible to ask him how many accounts he has on REDDIT? Since a simple check of his posts, yesterday, gave out a few more plagiarisms. And they all belong to different members.
