As we all know, adult citizens of El Salvador will get the equivalent of 30 US dollars in bitcoins for free, bitcoin will soon become legal tender, and its purpose is to simplify the process of remittances for Salvadorans. Is it true that Bitcoin will be issued? Or just some candy paper bags?

Based on the article I've read, El Salvador's government will really give a starting capital about $30 for every adult citizens in their country. I think they will need to download a local app for their e-wallet and from there, the government will put the $30. For sure, KYC will be very much needed and will be one of the major requirements their government will ask to be given the starting fund. I don't know how their government will verify though since I think there are people who will try to apply even though they are not citizens of El Salvador. Making a fake Valid I.D. seems easy nowadays. I wonder how they will ensure legitimacy of the people they will give money to. The number of people they are targeting to give fund and the qualifications are yet to be released. Hoping to read more information about this soon.
