I find this it be extremely unlikely, I can understand why ethereum is a popular coin and why it is going to remain to be the case for the foreseeable future, but to think that it is going to surpass bitcoin is simply too good to be true.

Bitcoin is by far the most used coin when it comes to actual transactions around the world and now that it has been declared as legal tender at El Salvador then the advantage it has over any other coin is going to grow even further, so personally I do not see this ever happening.
