Yes, I am not referring to the total supply, because this is known and the maximum supply cap is set. I want to know its value, can it be infinite, thanks for the reply to make me understand now.
As long as cryptocurrency is not the only currency existing, the price of bitcoin is infinite (in your terms). In the near future, fiat money will got hugely devalued because govt has printed a lot of moneys in the pandemic. In such case, I won't be surprised to see 1 BTC value more than a million.
But when there will be no fiat and cryptocurrency is the only monetary system, there won't be huge value increase although people still will pick BTC as store of value.
The possibility of 1 bitcoin can be worth 1 million or more of course will always exist,
maybe what you say is right that the price of bitcoin has no limit,
if you look at the beginning of the bitcoin price, we all didn't think the bitcoin price could soar this far
