As we all know, adult citizens of El Salvador will get the equivalent of 30 US dollars in bitcoins for free, bitcoin will soon become legal tender, and its purpose is to simplify the process of remittances for Salvadorans. Is it true that Bitcoin will be issued? Or just some candy paper bags?
I believe it'll be issued, the government of El Salvador knows the cryptocurency community and some other government are looking forward to their risk been a success so they can follow through. They know anything that doesn't support the true idea behind the initial intentions of the industry won't be supported by the cryptocurency community and If they were to lose the support of the cryptocurency community then there's no head to the decision they're making.
Actually Bitcoin would be airdropped but I doubt the wallet provider been used for the airdrop would be a decentralized one. They'll still want to have control over the finances of their citizens while making them think they're in control. No government would want to lose total control and if they achieve their stunt successful then other countries will follow through.
Lets not be surprised if Bitcoin finally gets centralized through the accepted of it been a recognized currency in different countries that have regulations on wallets to be used to stores our Bitcoin and be used in transaction that the government can monitor, all in the need of fighting money laundering activities.
