As we all know, adult citizens of El Salvador will get the equivalent of 30 US dollars in bitcoins for free, bitcoin will soon become legal tender, and its purpose is to simplify the process of remittances for Salvadorans. Is it true that Bitcoin will be issued? Or just some candy paper bags?
I think it is a great move by the government of El Salvador to disbursed $30 bitcoin to every adult citizen. This will, in ways unimaginable, help the adoption if bitcoin and hopefully increase the price of bitcoin.
I do not think the wallet used would matter so much because surely, KYC verification would be required before disbursement.
The only problem would be with the old and illiterate who will find it quite difficult to grasp the whole idea of a new technology such as bitcoin but I believe that with proper orientation, they should be able to surmount this.
