sata is fine, if that is all that's available then there is nothing you can do. normally it is just the sata socket that gets burned (you can still use that cable)
for me, i have lots of cable collected from dead psus. i can use those pcie and molex connectors by using the original sata cable from a (modular) and splicing those pcie and molex connectors (you have to trace the right voltages).
if the PSU is out of warranty or burned sockets(modular) then opening the psu and tapping directly to the circuit is also an option.
it also depends if your gpus are not the type that extracts a lot of current in the pcie socket. i don't own the kind of your gpus so i don't have an opinion.
