I think most of our old men are stuck on that kind of view. Traditional view.
Even if they don't trust the government, it's just the simplest way to invest with no trouble which is wrong.

Investments should always have their risk. Bitcoin has risk, no doubt.
But, it had been years and it's still getting more valuable so I guess that answers how much risk were lowered because of the trust that is obtained from its followers. Here's the good part, it's growing.
That is because back in the day you could live in a life with wealth. The baby boomers are not understanding what we are going through because the gap between wealth is just staggering, even the richest person of those days were not rich enough to actually buy a whole nation for themselves, we are talking about a big difference.

After the second world war when people started to be born in 50s and 60s those people could have get a college education and be a CEO by the time they retire, or they could be high school graduate and they could still buy a house and a new car ever 5 years, hell they could have been a high school dropout and they could still afford a house by the time they retire.

Can you imagine the "average" high school dropout today to be able to buy a house? I am sure there are some that managed to do it but that is not the average, the average high school dropout starves to death these days. Hence the difference causes them to not realize our problems because they never had that trouble.
