Kraken is supporting four new assets: Axie Infinity (AXS), Chiliz (CHZ), Origin Protocol (OGN) and Perpetual Protocol (PERP)

Axie Infinity Shards (AXS) – Axie Infinity is an Ethereum-based game where players can earn AXS tokens through gameplay across its universe. Acting as a cross between Pokemon and Cryptokitties, participants are incentivized to collect, raise and battle Axies in the Axie Infinity kingdom. Players can earn AXS by battling their Axies with other players or selling the ones they breed on Axie Infinity’s marketplace. AXS holders can also stake their tokens to participate in the game’s governance and vote on upgrades to its software.

Chiliz (CHZ) – Chiliz (CHZ) is the cryptocurrency used by sports fans to purchase “Fan Tokens” on the socios.com platform. These tokens allow participants to influence their favorite teams by voting on decisions while also earning engagement-based rewards. Chiliz also operates a cryptocurrency exchange platform where fan tokens can be purchased and traded.

Origin Protocol (OGN) – Built on Ethereum, the Origin Protocol is a platform that operates an online marketplace where anyone can share goods and services. The origin team is also expanding its marketplace to incorporate a launchpad for NFT creators to customize their content, such as digital art, music and video highlights, and grow their business. Holders of the Origin Tokens (OGN) can stake them and vote on the rules and direction of the network.

Perpetual Protocol (PERP) – Perpetual Protocol is a decentralized exchange designed to facilitate the buying and selling of perpetual contracts, such as leverage trading and short positions, in a way that mirrors a traditional exchange.
