For these stricted boards to newbies and some ranking, are those boards are atuomatically cant response mate? Or they can but there is a warning during composing on message that "you are not allowed to reply on this message".
the reply button is not available for newbies if they visited serious discussion or Ivory tower board(but I am not sure if this restriction includes newbies with copper membership). so yeah, you automatically can't respond if you are a newbie.
