Certainly he is not.
If Hal was Satoshi, that would be a big fraud.

Fraud? I would rather call it a genius diversion, because if we were to assume that Hal really was Satoshi, then he had every right to protect himself and his family, wouldn’t each of us do that? In addition, Satoshi coins have not moved to this day, and the Hal family is clearly not in their possession.

The man has been dead for some time and should be left to rest in peace - if nothing else then out of respect for everything he has done and his family who probably visit the forum from time to time.
