Bitcoin doesn't follow  ethereum  , bitcoin a value more than eth , for prices i think eth and btc follow the market and stock or economic of the world , like past crisis economic all market of the world crash for this reason crypto and bitcoin ctash too ,eth have a great future too like bitcoin , for example if bitcoin reach 100k , eth can reach 10k or 15k easily
