a few days back my friend took like 100 bucks and today he returned me in bitsler in xrp (approx 181 ripples). so when I try to withdraw them bitsler paused my withdrawal and asking me to pass KYC for 100 bucks and saying that they want to do KYC to ensure the account integrity and some bs. they could simply send an email to the registered mail address and confirm with me. no need to forcefully ask for KYC.
If you refer your friend then thats okay but if you operate multiple account or they suspect that you may operate duplicate account then they may ask to verify kyc as you referred for taking referral bonus. If they send email then that cant be verify that you are unique user. Because you may create and/or buy an unlimited email accounts.
@shasan while this is a small transaction but it looks suspicious to me, and I believe that the team is concerned about money laundering, hence I feel that they have asked for his KYC documents. Furthermore if he’s not using multiple accounts and isn’t involved in money laundering then he should give his KYC documents to the support team.
I agree with you and for referral commission there are a lot of people who create multiple alternatives accounts to get referral commission. In these case admin ofany sites can ask kyc if they suspect. For money laundering I think it is not as it is a small amount the thing I think nothing but alt account.
