Nothing in this world is permanent, and that's going to include Bitcoin. I'm sure it's going to take more than a dozen lifetimes for something so great to be invented that could potentially replace Bitcoin though.

Yeah right nothing in this world is permanent..but let as say
Let copy bitcoin to a human being...we cant live forever but human will be remain in this world just like bitcoin the essence of being digital currency will be also be forever be like a human being..as long as their is a live human being their will be a bitcoin also as digital currency as long as internet and computer are existing their is a digital currency.
Well this is just my belief... Smiley

Data, in contrast to biological cells (for now), can be permanent. Most of us have a lot of years to go. We all get to enjoy to find out where cryptocurrencies will be in 40 or 50 years from now and what they will look like / how they will be operated. It is hard to conceive of something that could replace the infrastructure we work with today (Internet + distributed ledgers), but who knows what is more to come. I hope to be around for many years as I am excited to find out.
