they came indeed just for the hype. some of the meme projects are serious but most of them are things that will quickly disappear. that's why serious investors won't pay attention to the meme coin that's trending right now. they are too bad in the long run and certainly too risky to put our money in there.

There might be a different view this quarter by old time investor that didnt believe in meme coin and miss the hype and profit from doge, shibu etc.
