Is it safe to use 2 PSU to run 8X RTX 3070?

Hi Bitcointalk community,

I was planning to run 8X RTX 3070 on my mining rig with the Asus Prime Z390-A Motherboard.
I already have a mining rig with that motherboard running 8X GTX 1660 Super.

For that I bought an EVGA PSU 1300W but the problem I was not expecting is that most of the RTX 3070 have 2X 8-pin or 8-pin + 6-pin power connectors so I don't have enough PCI-e cables from my EVGA PSU 1300W.

I am planning to buy an EVGA PSU 850W with a 24 Pin Male to Female Dual PSU Power Supply Cable like this:
https://www.amazon.ca/Female-Power-Supply-Motherboard-Adapter/dp/B013HTWI9G/ref=asc_df_B013HTWI9G/?tag=googleshopc0c-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=459480626555&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9215816340627094877&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9000455&hvtargid=pla-351408993297&psc=1

I guess I should always connect a riser and a gpu to the same PSU but other than that is it safe to use 2 PSU on a mining rig?

Is there something to do in the BIOS?

Any suggestions for which 24 Pin Male to Female Dual PSU Power Supply Cable to buy?

Thank you guys!
