does it means hacking only happen on centralized exchange, because i have witness a lot of decentralized exchange getting hacked. apart from the demand of KYC by centralized exchanges i dont see much differences between the two.
Well, everything on the internet can be hackable, it does not matter if it is DEX or CEX, once the hacker could be able to compromise that site, that will perhaps happen. The main purpose is at least you have control over your fund and that is how DEX work, while in trading, you have full access in your wallet while in CEX, they control your wallet that includes fund which is if they will hack, all your fund will be gone. That is the difference between both exchanges and I hope you understand.
