I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins
Why I am choosing altcoins is because bitcoin is now too much volatile and there is too much hype regarding Bitcoin, Altcoins will be recovered soon and will be hitting to new highs, but in case of Bitcoin, We are not sure that when this bubble explodes. Since we are not sure, investment in altcoin is only the safest option.
But I think bitcoin have its own advantage compare to altcoins. Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and it become one of the superiority value among all coins including altcoin. Also in my opinion, the volatility of bitcoin is as much as the altcoins, because it is so usual in the market that the price of altcoins is following the price of bitcoin. If the price of bitcoin is increasing, alts will follow it and the market will start to bullish.
Btc advantage over alts is the fact that btc is highly trusted and mostly accepted in almost all part of the world, btc has big names invested in it because they trust it unlike alts that are highly risky yet highly profitable too, between btc and alts, the latter will give more profit when you put your funds in a sound project, once you are lucky to invest in a good alts project, it gives more profit than putting same amount on btc, I guess this is part of the reason why op is investing in alts instead of btc.
