I've been reading CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph, but those are general news sites in my opinion. There isn't a lot of news about the smaller coins.

just getting information about digital currencies from the sites you mentioned, CoinDesk and CoinTelegraph can open someone's insight about digital currencies, the rest I also get from small discussions that we do fellow bounty hunters.
