According to rumors, Griezmann is ready to cut his salary if he remains in Barcelona. If he still has to leave, he wants to return to Atletico Madrid. But in my opinion he is not expected there. Atletico Madrid fans do not want to see him on the team. Griezmann did a great error going to Barcelona.
The negotiations between Atlético Madrid and Fc Barcelona are already going on about Griezman. Since Atlético knows that Fc Barcelona has some salary issues because of the cap and therefore want to get rid of Griezman, Atlético is trying to push the price down a lot, which Fc Barcelona also can't accept. Bad position for Barcelona here I would say.
Mathematics say, if Barca want to register the contract of its new players and Messi, they have 2 possibilities :
1- Get ride of Griezmann and his huge salary = beneficial for the club in terms of introduced money +/- sell other players.
2- Keep Griezmann but reduce his wage and other players salaries too +/- sell other players.
I don't see other solution for the club and ATM know this very well, that's why they try to grab him as cheap as possible!
