Exactly, any centralized wallet can be switched off remotely because it relies on centralized server. Unstoppable wallet is literally unstoppable, because it uses p2p Bitcoin network directly. So as long as there are Bitcoin nodes out there our wallet will function. And in near future we will add support for personal Bitcoin node, such that Unstoppable wallet will work with your own Bitcoin node you specify in settings.
