Friendlies are not an indication of the form the team is in right now. But the fact remains that Real is not going through the best stage in its history. I, like most, see that the season will not be very easy for Real Madrid, let's see how it really will be. But I think that Real Madrid will not be able to fight for the championship in La Liga this season, and also will not be able to play at the proper level in the Champions League.
Not only that but the roster wasn't fully there neither, I feel like we are going to see so many different players when the league starts because there were some youth players there and bench players as well and we have just seen the team go out there for basically increasing fitness levels. However the weird thing is, if the main starters are not there then why are they even doing this? I mean at the end of the day whole purpose of a friendly match to see how the tactic holds up and help the players get back into match condition but if the main players are not there then what is the point of having a friendly to begin with?
This was one of the most useless friendlies I have ever seen and it lacked so many star players of Real that it didn't mean anything at all, this game could have been cancelled or posptoned and nobody would have even realized it.
